La Tarentaise is a luxury six-bedroom chalet, sleeping 13 people, in the centre of Courchevel 1650. It is adjacent to the ski lifts, which will give you access to the three-valley area, the largest in Europe. The chalet was initially a barn in the original village of Moriond, in twentieth century it was a local café and patisserie and family home and in recent years has been a ski chalet. The current owners purchased it in 2008 and have completely renovated and refurbished it to high standards of luxury.

"We have skied for many years but never have we enjoyed such a fabulous chalet and location. Right in the centre of 1650 with everything for our 20+ year old kids to do, a short escalator ride up to the ski slopes (a 50yd walk then stand on the moving stairs).
What more could one ask for? Well there was plenty more in this very magnificent chalet, beautiful bedrooms, spacious and well appointed. Lovely ensuites. Superb lounge with long dining table for 12 and a separate TV room. Jules who looked after the chalet made sure it was immaculate and was a supreme hostess. The food was fantastic too.
We plan to go again (and again) and can highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going apart from during the weeks we want it!"
