Activities

If you don’t want to ski, there are a number of activities available in the Courcehvel area - snow shoeing, skating, nordic walking, ice karting and lugeing are some of the winter activities available. For the more adventurous there is snow mobiling,quad-biking trying your hand at piste-bashing and torchlight descents. There are a climbing wall, a bowling alley and amusement arcade in courchevel 1850 and both 1850 and 1650 have cinemas. For those non-skiers who wish to see more of the surrounding area, you can organise excursions to places such as the Vanoise, Chamonix or Chambery. Michel Rochedy, the two star Michelin chef, often runs early morning cookery demonstrations in the Chabichou in 1850 (0479080055).
