Eating Out

In 1650, there are some lovely restaurants – L’Eterlou, L’alambic and Le Petit Savoyard, a brief stroll away that specialise in traditional Savoyard food and are great for lunch as well as a charming evening out. For a more extravagant evening the Hotel Manali provides an unusual eastern influenced setting and French food with a twist.   In La Praz, La Table de Mon Grand-Pere and Le Yaca provide delicious dining. Alternatively a trip to Courchevel 1850 can give you a choice of two restaurants each with two Michelin stars – Le Chabichou and Le Bateau Ivre, and a host of other places.

As for lunch, the Courchevel valley has a host of  top class restaurants on the piste with something for everyone from ever popular Le Bel Air in 1650 with its panoramic views, to Le Panoramique sitting on the top of the highest local peak with views to Mont Blanc.
